Hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy is a type of psychotherapy that is designed to target and change negative beliefs and traumatic experiences that are stored in the deeper levels of consciousness, including the subconscious mind and the super conscious mind. Hypnotherapy is most recommended when one is engaging in behaviors that they don’t like but can’t seem to stop.

Examples include:

  1. Addictions, avoidance, chronic suicidal ideation
  2. Preoccupation with unresolved grief and loss - including divorce, abortion, miscarriage or adoption
  3. Chronic relationship problems
  4. Limitations due to unexplained fears, phobias and/or physical pains.

There are a variety of hypnotherapy regression techniques.  All hypnosis involves an induction, either formal or informal.  An induction is simply a state of relaxation that allows you to access information that is available in different levels of consciousness.  Gestalt hypnotherapy provides you with the opportunity to connect with the energy of another and have a healing corrective experience.  This may be connecting with other parts of self, a significant person in your life (living or dead), your higher self, or your spirit guides.
